2020 Collective Impact Conference Canceled

Stay Tuned for Details of Interactive Online Events

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an unprecedented global crisis. In these extraordinary times, America’s Charities is taking extraordinary steps to ensure the health, safety, and convenience of our friends, colleagues, and partners all over the planet. We are therefore canceling the 2020 Collective Impact Conference and instead planning a series of virtual discussions to cover much of the same social good topics.

If you had previously registered for the Collective Impact Conference, please email marcom@charities.org and, after reviewing your receipt, we will issue you a full refund. If you are an America’s Charities’ client, you do not need to take any action besides clearing your calendar on June 12. America’s Charities’ members, we are hosting our 2020 Membership Assembly online, on June 12 at noon ET. Please visit your member portal for details and to register.

The Social Good Community is Stronger When United

As ‘business as usual’ evolves to the new normal of remote work, virtual meetings, and online events, we know that now, more than ever, opportunities to connect are important. In addition to supporting each other in this new era of business, all of us working toward the greater good must also continue to share knowledge and resources. If anything, coronavirus has put an even more vivid spotlight on just how imperative the work of nonprofits is, and how much causes, in turn, need the support of companies and their staffs.

We are also acutely aware that America’s Charities’ role at the nexus of nonprofit and private sector organizations is unique. We take our work to inspire employees and organizations to support the causes they care about seriously. We are not simply taking our Collective Impact Conference online. You know as well as we do that not every topic translates well online. We had planned on a day of interactive conversations, and we are now working to ensure we can translate that energy to a virtual environment, in a series of shorter, more focused dialogues, using easy-to-navigate technology.

We will announce our series of virtual discussions, to replace the 2020 Collective Impact Conference, in the CSR Newsletter, so be sure to subscribe. Please be on the lookout for information as we publicize new details. In the meantime, please take good care of yourselves. In this unprecedented moment, America’s Charities is committed to serving you as we ever have – while maintaining recommended health and safety practices. Do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can do for you.

We are honored to walk by your side on this untread path to the greater good.
