Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an unprecedented global crisis. In these extraordinary times, America’s Charities took extraordinary steps to ensure the health, safety, and convenience of our friends, colleagues, and partners all over the planet. We canceled the 2020 Collective Impact Conference accordingly and have decided to forego the event in 2021. While the country is slowly returning to normalcy, we know there is still a long way to go, and the safety and security of our guests and speakers are paramount.
Also, while many organizations have moved their previously face-to-face events to an online format, we've discovered first-hand that it's not always a smooth transition. Some events simply do not play out as well in a virtual environment. We're not ones to force a square peg in a round hole. Plus, we know one of the biggest strengths of our event was the fact that the stakeholders of social change -- our nonprofit members and our employer clients -- were able to connect and engage in person. As such, we will wait to hold our conference until we are assured that we can safely be together in person.
Until then, we will continue to host short webinars with our experts and key partners online. Please subscribe to our CSR Newsletter to ensure you receive information about those and other events hosted by America's Charities.
We also hosted our annual Membership Assembly – exclusively for America’s Charities nonprofit members – virtually on Friday, June 11, 2021. If you are a member, you can access the recording and presentation in your Member Resource Center.
We look forward to once again hosting the in-person Collective Impact Conference at a future date, featuring a series of interactive conversations covering the social good landscape. Once we are confident that we do so in-person and safely, we will announce details on this page. Please check back again soon.
