  • If you are an America's Charities member, contact marcom@charities.org and let us know about your #GivingTuesday initiative. We will use our website and social media pages to promote you.

  • Promote Matching Gifts to double your success! Use Double the Donation's matching gift tool to help donors learn what companies match gifts and encourage them to donate to you with a company match. America's Charities and Double the Donation have partnered to provide America’s Charities’ nonprofit members with free access to Double the Donation's core matching gifts product, and steep discounts to its other products. Some products are completely free to America's Charities nonprofit members. Click here for step-by-step instructions on how to take advantage of this great offer.

    • Through America's Charities’ partnership with Double the Donation, our members, who are new clients of Double the Donation, will receive the Premium Plan for free, a value of $499/year.
    • New clients will also receive a one-time discount of $499 off Double the Donation’s 360MatchPro product, designed for large nonprofits. Existing Double the Donation clients who are also America's Charities members can receive a one-time discount of $999 off 360MatchPro.
  • Decide what you hope to achieve through #GivingTuesday and how you will promote it:

    • You can celebrate #GivingTuesday as a separate campaign to encourage holiday giving, or integrate it within your existing year-end fundraising initiatives.

    • Create a landing page on your website specifically about #GivingTuesday (i.e. yourcharityname.org/giving-tuesday) and use that page to collect donations and share information with your supporters.

    • Craft a few emails and series of social media messages to rally your supporters around your #GivingTuesday initiative.

    • Be focused. Don’t try to do too many things (you don’t want to overwhelm your supporters). If it’s donations you want, make that clear in your messaging. If it’s volunteers you want or specific donated goods you want, make it easy for your supporters to get involved. If you want to raise awareness about your cause or a specific program you offer, craft some messages and shareable graphics for your donors to use so they can advocate on your behalf to their friends and family.
