Provide Immediate Disaster Relief

Feed The Children stands ready to respond to natural and man-made disasters whenever and wherever they occur. Your gift will ensure that we have boxes of relief supplies ready to be delivered from our distribution centers and filled with ready-to-eat meals, cleaning supplies, water and other items that people need immediately during times of disaster.

On Tuesday April 29, Feed The Children will send emergency disaster relief supplies to aid victims of the devastating tornadoes in the Midwest and Southern regions of the US. Disaster relief supplies will leave Feed The Children’s Oklahoma City warehouse located at 29. N. McCormick around 9 a.m. The supplies will be delivered to The Arkansas Rice Depot in Little Rock and arrive by approximately 3 p.m.

Water provided by Feed The Children is already helping storm victims and first responders near Elizabeth City, North Carolina after six tornadoes injured 16 people and damaged 200 homes.

Feed The Children is coordinating with organizations and authorities in those regions to deliver more disaster supplies as requests for aid are received.

“Our hearts go out to all of those whose lives have been shattered by the storm and thanks to the generous donation from many of our corporate partners and supporters, we are able to bring direct help to families affected by these deadly storms,” said Kevin Hagan, president and CEO of Feed The Children. “We stand ready to help families in their time of need and will continue to respond until that need is met.”
