Service Dog Demos, Puppy Kissing Booth, Cow Bingo and More!

Canine Partners for Life’s Annual Open House is right around the corner.

Cochranville, PA – Join Canine Partners for Life (CPL) for our annual Open House and Cow Bingo on Saturday, September 15 from 12 to 4pm at the CPL facility (334 Faggs Manor Road, Cochranville, PA 19330). Bring the whole family for an afternoon of free fun to discover how service dogs change lives.

“We are changing lives every day at CPL thanks to the support of our community. Open House gives us the opportunity to celebrate our mission with our longtime supporters and introduce our mission to new members of the community,” says Janie Cramer, CPL’s Executive Director.

This year, the event will kick-off with a “Ribbon-Tugging” ceremony for the Grand Opening of the new Marian S. Ware Program Services Center! The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:30pm and will feature one of our amazing service dogs in training. After the ceremony, you can tour the new building to see where our puppies are whelped, check out the brand new and significantly larger harness shop where we construct our service dog harnesses, and view the many upgrades that make our building more accessible and comfortable for the individuals we serve.

After touring the new building, stick around Open House to visit our puppy kissing booth, watch service dog demonstrations, tour our kennel, shop local vendors, indulge in a variety of treats from local food trucks, enjoy live music, and take your chance to win $5,000 in our ever-popular Cow Bingo!

Cow Bingo is a game of chance that pits your luck against the cow “doo”ing her business. If the cow heeds the call of nature on your square, you are the lucky winner of $5,000! Tickets are $10 each. Squares are randomly assigned and chances are 1 in 3,000. The cow will be released at 3:00pm. Tickets can be purchased early by cash or check using the order form found here. Winner does not need to be present to win.

This event is rain or shine. Personal pets are not permitted. To learn more, visit CPL’s website or Facebook page. All event proceeds benefit CPL’s mission.
