Are you ready for ‘Do More 24’ Day?
In support of our members who serve the DC metro community, America’s Charities has teamed up with United Way of the National Capital Area (United Way NCA) to support Do More 24 on June 4th.
United Way NCA launched Do More 24 in 2013 to address the DC metro region’s most pressing challenges. Â In 2014 they succeeded in raising more than $1.1 million dollars for more than 500 participating nonprofit organizations that provide clothing, shelter, food, quality educational programming, medical services and other critical support to the community’s most underserved population.
This year, United Way NCA hopes to make Do More 24 even more successful, and they invite nonprofits that serve the DC metro region to participate.Â
