May is for Miracles!
This May, multiple North American retailers, thousands of employees and millions of supporters are committed to helping kids get better. Kid like Camery, who was born with DiGeorge Syndrome, a rare and complicated genetic disorder caused by a defect in chromosome 22, resulting in significant development issues of her internal organs.Â
Donations fund rehabilitation programs Camery participates in, including physical, speech and occupational therapy, and also help with nutrition, dental and social programs. When you donate to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, you are supporting the 62 kids who enter a member children’s hospital for treatment every minute. Our 170 member hospitals rely on donations to pay for research and training, equipment and charity care for families unable to pay for their medical expenses.Â
