LUNGevity: Finding the Silver Lining
We featured this week’s Featured Charity, LUNGevity, last May and introduced you to their unique, comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of people affected by lung cancer (click here to read that post).
This week, we’d like to introduce you to Jill Feldman. More than 200,000 people will be diagnosed with lung cancer this year – something that Jill is all too familiar with. Yet she still manages to find the silver lining. We’d like to thank Jill and LUNGevity for allowing us to share her story. In the post below, written by Jill, she will talk about the community in Deerfield, IL, who’s support has given her hope. But, whether you are from Deerfield, IL or Deerfield, NY, there is a ‘Jill’ in each of our communities who needs our support, so that they too can find the silver linings.
