How Lockheed Martin Provides Ongoing Support to the Military and Veteran Communities
Lockheed Martin sites across the United States are commemorating Veterans Day, honoring their veteran employees, and celebrating the nation’s veterans as well as those still serving. Veterans Day traces its origins to Armistice Day, which marked the end of fighting in World War I, and is still celebrated as Remembrance Day in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Honoring those who’ve served is one of Lockheed Martin’s core values, and they provide ongoing support to the military and veteran communities through corporate contributions, veteran hiring initiatives and volunteer programs.
In addition to hosting internal ceremonies and observances for veteran employees, Lockheed Martin employees are engaging communities across the U.S. to pay tribute to all veterans.
