How Donor Support Helped Turn Valerie’s Life Around

Valerie’s life was not going as planned.  She lost her mother to Alzheimer’s, found herself in an unhealthy relationship and was unemployed.

Looking to propel herself forward, Valerie came to Dress for Success. Entrenched in our programs, she participated in our Professional Women’s Group and Financial Literacy Program. She remained committed and even served as an ambassador to our organization during this time.

Valerie’s life took another turn, but this time for the better. She enrolled at Mercy College and graduated two years ahead of schedule in 2012, magna cum laude!

Because of your financial support of Dress for Success programs, Valerie is now a gainfully employed, financially independent, college graduate.
