Feed The Children Comes Together with New Hampshire Food Bank to Bring Help and Hope to Children and Families in Need
400 Families to Receive Food and Essentials
On Wednesday, April 23, Feed The Children delivered one semi tractor-trailer full of food and essentials to help 400 Manchester area families.Â
Nearly one in four children living in Manchester (27 percent) is considered impoverished. In fact, the number of children living in poverty in New Hampshire (42,000) could fill Holman Stadium more than 8 times.
Feed The Children partner agency, New Hampshire Food Bank, has pre-identified families receiving the boxes. Each family will receive a 25-pound box of food and a 10-pound box of personal care items. The boxes are designed to help a family of four for up to one week.
