Empowering Cancer Warriors Everywhere

“With cancer survivorship expected to increase more than 35% over the next decade, the need for LIVESTRONG is greater now more than ever. Keep helping us fight the fight, the fight that impacts millions of lives each year. Together, we can and will change the way the world fights cancer.” – Greg Lee, LIVESTRONG President & CEO

At LIVESTRONG we fight to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. Whether it’s a mother, father, son, daughter, friend, family or colleague at work, we all know someone who has been touched by this terrible disease. We believe there can be—and should be—life after cancer for more people. Thanks to our donors, supporters and event participants, LIVESTRONG has been able to assist more than 5 million people fighting cancer. We’ve done this in many ways:

Strengthening our communities
At LIVESTRONG, we recognize the importance of a supportive community in cancer survivorship. Community survivorship programs like LIVESTRONG at the YMCA and LIVESTRONG at the School have allowed us to engage with over 1 million survivors and caretakers through events in local communities.

Navigating the cancer journey with you
Cancer is intimidating for anyone, and we want people and their families to have practical solutions provided to them throughout their journey—wherever they need them, and however they need them. We saved our clients more than $14.3 million in 2017 for healthcare and fertility-related costs, while our online navigation services have seen ever increasing visitors.

Revolutionizing Cancer Care
We believe in patient-centered care, and together with Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, the LIVESTRONG Cancer Institutes’ goal is to reinvent the way cancer patients are cared for and supported. What starts here in Austin will change the way cancer patients are cared for across the country.

As we move through 2018 and look forward to 2019, we know our job is not yet done; the demand is increasing and we are here to answer that call. LIVESTRONG will continue to focus on the patients who depend on us and the life-enhancing services we provide throughout their cancer journey.

Support LIVESTRONG through your employee giving program:

As a donor, you can support LIVESTRONG by donating to them through your employer’s workplace giving program (CFC#11991if you’re a military or federal employee participating in the Combined Federal Campaign). Payroll pledges made through employer-sponsored charitable giving programs represent a cost effective and near effortless way to support your favorite charities.

As LIVESTRONG‘s workplace giving partner, America’s Charities can help your company design and implement a program centered on supporting their work – through workplace giving campaigns, employee fundraising, cause-focused signature programs, volunteerism, donation drives, matching gifts, Dollars-for-Doers, In-Kind Giving and other employee engagement and philanthropic initiatives. Click here to request a demo and learn how we can help you do this.
