Disasters and the Health of Our Children – A National Priority

Floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, droughts.  Natural disasters affect people of all ages, but they can hit children the hardest.  Irwin Redlener, M.D., president and co-founder of Children’s Health Fund, as well as the head of the National Center for Disaster Preparedness, is a recognized expert in disasters and their consequences for the health of those affected by them.
