To Create a Truly Effective Social Media Presence, Look to the Humane Society of the United States for Some Tips
“Creating a great Facebook page is a lot harder than it sounds. It’s easy enough to create an account and keep supporters up-to-date about your organization’s mission, but there’s more to it than that. To create a truly effective social media presence on Facebook, you should look to The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).”
That is an excerpt from a blog called, “Things Not To Do On Facebook,” posted by The NonProfit Times yesterday. The blog referenced America’s Charities member, The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), as an example of what to do. While not every nonprofit organization has the resources and ability to staff as many full-time employees and interns as the HSUS, a nonprofit group of any size can certainly gain from the tips HSUS offers in this blog post.
