The Children’s Inn at NIH Remains Open During Shutdown, Serving Families and Children With Critical Needs.

Many parts of the National Institutes of Health closed as of Tuesday due to the Federal Government shutdown, but America’s Charities member, The Children’s Inn at NIH, remains open – around the clock – serving families and children with critical needs. The Inn is a 501(c)3 nonprofit committed to children and families seeking successful treatments, a cure and hope at the NIH. The NIH Clinical Center continues to serve pediatric patients. Unfortunately, many of the Inn’s families, who are already burdened with caring for a seriously ill child, are feeling the added stress of the government shutdown. Rest assured, The Children’s Inn is redoubling their efforts to support these families in every way possible.

Inn CEO, Kathy Russell, and the staff at The Children’s Inn at NIH thank you for all you do to support The Inn and the children and families they serve!
