Celebrating the Strong Spirit of Community Involvement in Northern Virginia
Today marks International Corporate Philanthropy Day (ICPD), a global day of recognition intended to highlight companies for their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, build awareness about the importance of corporate-community partnerships, and inspire companies to engage further. For the third year in a row, the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce (Fairfax Chamber) is celebrating ICPD by highlighting the good work of an array of companies of all sizes, across industries in Northern Virginia.
“CSR is good for the community and good for business,” said Fairfax Chamber President & CEO Jim Corcoran. “No one knows that better than our businesses here in Northern Virginia. The Fairfax Chamber is proud, for the third year in a row, to recognize their dedication to service, and be the voice of their important story of community commitment. ”
