America’s Charities Named ‘Best Nonprofit To Work For’ For Sixth Consecutive Year

Washington, D.C. – April 1, 2026 – America’s Charities, a nonprofit dedicated to mobilizing the power of giving through workplace and employee engagement solutions, today announced it has been named one of the 2026 Best Nonprofits to Work For by The NonProfit Times.

This marks the sixth consecutive year America’s Charities has been recognized among the top employers in the nonprofit sector. This year, the organization ranked #13 overall, rising from #20 last year, and #8 among small nonprofits.

“It is an honor to be recognized once again as one of the best nonprofits to work for,” said Jim Starr, President and CEO of America’s Charities. “Our team is deeply committed to making a meaningful difference, and that commitment drives a workplace culture built on collaboration, purpose, and care. We strive not only to support our employees, but to extend that same spirit to our partners through programs like workplace giving, volunteering, and emergency assistance funds. I’m grateful to be part of an organization that lives its mission every day.”

To be eligible, organizations were required to be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit with at least 15 employees and a minimum of one year in operation. The selection process included a two-part evaluation: an in-depth review of workplace policies and practices (25%) and an employee survey measuring the overall workplace experience (75%). Final rankings were determined based on the combined results.

Workforce Research manages the survey process, analyzes the data, and determines the final rankings.
