Little Rock Nine Members Ernie Green, Carlotta Walls Lanier Oppose Anti-LGBT Legislation

Today, Ernie Green and Carlotta Walls Lanier, members of the historic “Little Rock Nine,” voiced strong opposition to H.B. 1228– a discriminatory Indiana-style bill that will open the door to discrimination against LGBT people, people of color, religious minorities, women and other minority groups across the state.  Green and Lanier are two of nine African-American students who boldly integrated Little Rock’s Central High School during the civil rights movement. Today, they are taking another historic stand with LGBT Arkansans and their allies and supporters.
