Register Now! 6th Annual Prevent Cancer 5k is September 21, 2014

Registration now for the 2014 Prevent Cancer 5k Walk/Run and help promote healthy lifestyles and cancer prevention. This year’s event will feature a scenic course around Nationals Park and the Capitol Riverfront, a chance to test your skills in the Nationals batting cages and information and cancer screenings provided by local medical professionals. The 2014 5k Walk/Run is an unofficial 5k route that will take participants around the beautiful Capitol Riverfront area with a start/finish inside Nationals Park. This is not a timed race. The event is open for family and friends of all ages. You are welcome to bring your dog but it must be on a leash at all times during the event, and free parking is available. Helen Moreau, President and CEO of The Midtown Group and Jerry FitzGerald, member of Prevent Cancer’s Board of Directors, will be serving as the 2014 5k Walk/Run Co-Chairs.
