Reeve Foundation IRC member publishes New Study on Central Nervous System (CNS) Rehabilitation
A paper was published a couple of weeks ago from the Martin Schwab lab at the Brain Research Institute in Zurich. Schwab, as you know if you’ve been following along, is a member of the Reeve Foundation International Research Consortium for Spinal Cord Injury; twenty-five-plus years ago, he discovered a protein in the area of CNS damage that actively worked against the ability of nerve fibers to grow or recover. The protein, called Nogo-A, has been at the center of his work ever since.Â
