Yoga For a Cure to Breast Cancer
On February 13, 2014, Maggie DiNome, MD, Director of the newly developed High-Risk Clinic at the Cancer Prevention Clinic at the Margie Petersen Breast Center at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA, hosted a gorgeous fundraiser with actress Kate Beckinsale and celebrity yoga instructor Many Ingber, New York Times best-selling author of Yogalosophy: 28-days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover.
The yoga event was held at the home of Providence Saint John’s Foundation Trustree Mary Flaherty and successfully raised funds to support the creation of a new Yoga Program for patients undergoing breast cancer treatment.
