Higher Achievement D.C. Metro Selected as 2012 Washington Post Charities $30,000 Grant Recipient

Higher Achievement D.C. Metro to recieve $30,000 grantThe Washington Post announced that through The Washington Post Charities, a McCormick Foundation Fund, $155,000 in grants will be awarded to six local nonprofit organizations that support education for at-risk youth and teens in the Washington, D.C.-area.

Among the 2012 grant recipients selected is America’s Charities member, Higher Achievement D.C. Metro, who will receive $30,000 to support their D.C.-area Achievement Centers which provide out-of-school academic support to middle school students.
