Half Cab, Half Cruiser Carries Warnings About Drunken Driving

WINTER HAVEN | A Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde-sort of Crown Victoria — half cop car, half taxi cab — is getting double takes on Winter Haven streets after police unveiled a new drunken driving campaign today.

The Winter Haven police cruiser was repainted to resemble a cruiser in the front and a taxi cab in the back to highlight the difference in price in taking one or the other after drinking.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving lauded the new campaign at today’s press conference.
