Give Kids The World Celebrates Monumental Achievement
America’s Charities member, 
Give Kids The World Village (GKTW), recently reached a rare milestone—2 million volunteer hours completed at a single location—that’s equivalent to 228 years, the terms of 57 US presidents or 16,000 four-year college degrees!Â
To celebrate this milestone achievement, GKTW is hosting a ceremony today, April 18th, to honor more than 50,000 American and international volunteer “Angels” of many ages, talents and abilities who have filled an average of 1,400 weekly shifts over the last 26 years. Angels from across the country are sharing their milestone stories on GKTW’s online memory website, www.angelmosaic.com, and also on GKTW’s Facebook page.Â
