Rhonda is the Maryland Charity Campaign (MCC) Manager, serving as the primary liaison and first point of contact for MCC leadership and Campaign volunteers. She leads MCC training sessions and serves as a mentor for the Campaign’s Loaned Executives and Coordinators.
Rhonda has more than 20 years of experience with demonstrated strengths and skills in assessing organizational needs, program evaluation, fundraising/development, relationship building, and event planning. She has worked for several charities including Feed the Children, American Kidney Fund, and DC Area Health Education Center.
Additionally, she served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the District of Columbia where she taught Introduction to Nonprofit Organizations and Staff and Volunteer Management.
Inspired by her volunteer service at the beginning of her career, Rhonda quickly developed a deep passion for charitable work. Rhonda is a Master Food Volunteer with the Virginia Extension Cooperative.
A Chicago native, Rhonda received a bachelor’s from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s from DePaul University. She relocated to the Washington, DC, area in 2001, and now calls Maryland home.
