America’s Charities is a coalition of prominent charities that enables individuals and employers to achieve their philanthropic goals by providing comprehensive solutions that generate unrestricted, renewable and sustainable financial support for charities through workplace and other individual giving campaigns.
At America’s Charities, our core service is to raise and distribute funds for not-for-profit organizations through workplace giving campaigns, and to help employers conduct those campaigns in the most effective and efficient manner.

We are proud to be one of the most respected leaders among all federations in private and public sector workplace campaigns. America’s Charities is a leader in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), as well as in state and municipal government campaigns. For the 2009 fiscal year, America’s Charities raised and managed more than $32 million in gifts to over 5,000 national and local charities.
Our Role in the Philanthropic Service Market
As one of the premier national service workplace giving federations, America’s Charities is driven to be the best partner to employers in the public and private sectors, and to help them implement effective and successful employee giving campaigns in the workplace.
We focus on efficiency so that we distribute the maximum amount of each contributor’s gift to their designated charities. Our overhead rate is 12 percent, which is significantly below CFC’s historic regulation of 25 percent* and the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance standard.
